100 SERIES SUPER GLOSS INK
Properties
Excellent gloss. Alcohol resistance. Weathering resistance.
Acryl, ABS, Rigid PVC, Vinyl stickers.
INTRODUCTIONS
2000 SERIES AP INK is two-component type of acrylic urethane ink. Good adhesion and excellent properties are obtained. As this is epoxy ink, there is no problem in weathering resistance.
APPLICATIONS
Primed metal, unprimed metal, plated surface, hard-coat plastics, special engineering, plastics, thermosetting resin.
CHARACTERISTICS
Good adhesion to recommended substrates.
Pot life is long. Stable on the screen.
Ink cures at low temperature.
High gloss and high opacity.
The properties are excellent(eg. resistance to chemicals/solvent).
HOW TO USE
Add 10 parts of JA-950 and 5-20 parts of thinner respectively to 100 parts of ink. Stir well before print. TETRON THINNER(fast drying, standard drying, slow drying) is recommended.
POT LIFE
Approx.6-12 hours at room temperature.(25°C)(77°F)
DRYING
ack-free :
Be sure to dry with heat.
Ink added with TETRON THINNER SLOW DRYING. 60°C(140°F), 10 minutes or 80°C(176°F), 5 minutes.
Complete drying :
room temp. 3 days, 80°C(176°F), 60 minutes or 120°C(248°F), 15 minutes.
The higher the drying temperature is, the better the adhesion and properties become.
STENCIL & WASHING UP
Use photo-stencil. Use VINYL CLEANING THINNER.
COLOR RANGE & TYPE OF PACKING
Standard 15 colors, EXO(extra opaque) 5 colors, matting agent. 1-kg-can
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
1) Substrate : PP sheet after corona discharge

- Value in this information is obtained in experiment and no guarantee is implied.
- Weathering resistance depends on the color. Please refer to lightfastness chart before use. Matched colors, especially smoke colors and pale colors, are inferior to standard colors in weathering resistance.
PRECAUTIONS
– 100 SERIES SUPER GLOSS INK forms tough ink film. If plural hits are done on vinyl stickers, the substrate may curl up. Use 3500 SERIES EXG INK which is more flexible than 100 SERIES.
– 100 SERIES SUPER GLOSS INK is not suitable for styrol, AS and noryl. Good adhesion cannot be obtained.
– Although weathering resistance of SUPER GLOSS INK is rather good, 3500 SERIES EXG INK is recommended when long-life weathering resistance is required. Weathering resistance can be made even better by using JELCON SERIES VS INK(UV cutting clear ink) together with 3500 SERIES.
– Please refer to MSDS before use.
– Be sure to do trial print before commercial run to confirm that the product fits the purposes.
