PET-TH INK
INTRODUCTIONS
PET-TH INK is the matt typed ink, developed for printing membrane switch using polyester film. It mainly uses for backside printing. Excellent in printability and adhesion to polyester film, Polycarbonate.
APPLICATIONS
Polyester film, Sticker, Polycarbonate
Especially, high speed printing
CHARACTERISTICS
Excellent in printability and able to minor printing.
Able to high density printing and excellent in printability in high speed printing.
Due to strong adhesion, flexible film, ink is good for post-processing work properly.
Good in oil resistance, gasoline resistance, alcohol resistance, chemical resistance and excellent in weather resistance.
Very excellent in color matching stability.
The finished work is flat and matt so, it is good in scratch resistance.
HOW TO USE
Dilute the ink with TETRON THINNER (Standard Drying, Slow Drying) before printing. When you would like to dry slower, please use TETRON RETARDER or PET RETAEDER.
HOW TO DRY
PET INK is designed to slow evaporated drying so please be sure to heat dry.
Dilute with TETRON SLOW DRYING 10%, 270 meshes, solid printing.
Warm air drying 50°C : about 80 seconds (touchable drying by finger)
Warm air drying 80°C : about 40 seconds (touchable drying by finger)
Far infrared drying 120°C : about 90 seconds (completely dry)
(In case, many times of overprinting, please set the drying time longer.)
HOW TO WASH UP THE PRINTING BLOCK
Use VINYL CLEANING THINNER.
COLORS & TYPE OF PACKING
White, black and standard color 17 colors by 1 kg metal can.
PRECAUTIONS
– PET INK can be used JA-960 HARDENER (quick reactivity), JA-950 (slow reactivity, no yellow typed). Adding HARDENER to ink by about 10% significantly improves adhesion and film properties (heat resistance, friction resistance, etc.). However, if HARDENER is used, the ink will have pot life.
– Many times of overprinting cannot use standard drying time. Please set the drying time longer.
– Please refer to MSDS before using.
COATING PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Dilute PET TH 07 OPAQUE WHITE with TETRON SLOW DRYING, use T-270 meshes block screen, print in polyester film (untreated) size 125mm. Drying does by heating at 100°C on 60 seconds and then leave at room temperature for 1 day.
